jsp is a creative team that consists of the sisters jelena and svetlana prokovic. they work together in the aria of styling, costume design and fashion since 1992 in belgrade.
on this year belgrade fashion week they showed there ss09 collection.
the inspiration for the collection for spring/summer 2009 named “recyclique - recycle, cycle, clique” is an exclusive group of people who share interests, views, purposes and patterns of behavior or ethnicity.











looks very nice and together with this great shoes by lilu (designer danijela biskup)... is just perfect.

Attributes that could easily be assigned to a young person? Perhaps … But as for the world of fashion, these are indeed desired characteristics of each fashion story. What is beyond the conventional brings freshness, new attitudes towards the world and furthermore shifts that can be made firstly by the courageous and the daring who are then followed by the crowds; together they can overcome the boundaries of narrowed, old-fashioned norms.

We have invited internationally renowned experts from the world of fashion, media and advertising to take part in the event. We want to send out a message that the 21st century is not a lost era, but a time of opportunities for all of us, irrespective of gender, religion or race.

Young and promising creative people will, through lectures and workshops, get an insight on the methods of work in fashion, media and photography world. Lectures will be presented by people renowned for their regular and stabilized practice, in an extensive international sphere.

A professional jury will decide who will receive the awards; consisting of many well-known national and international experts. Koper is without a doubt a city of the 21st century. Step by step it is becoming an economical, cultural and tourist meeting point. It is time to outline its way to success!


Everyone can be different; everyone can fallow their own life philosophy and create collections in their unique style.

i got the information that there will be more then 30 designers on the festival...

TITO AND ME

it was time for the royal college of art's ma fashion students to show their hard work at henry moore gallery.
final collection by 36 students showcased in a catwalk presentations that includes menswear, womenswear, knitwear and millinery, alongside static displays of footwear and sccesory design.
one of students is maja mehele, young slovenian fashion designer.
i saw pictures of her collection on her facebook page and i really like it a lot.... speciall black jacket.

and in jotta magazine is written:

"In the stand out womenswear collection, Maja Mehele presented a strong and impactful silhouette. 80s influences coming through in the strong shoulders and masculine inspired tailoring, while still feeing very new and relevant."

KLOMOTEN

hand made showroom klomoten ????

what is it? i really don't know it. i am not good in the cyrillic aplhabet or rather cyrillic script.
it is probably sort of showroom organise from young designers in moscow. it sounds nice.

i like the flyer for the showroom.



on the klomoten page i found some pictures with models wearing clothes from russian label bessonnitsa.
