_the spring / summer 2011 collection is inspired by the human body with all its advantages and disadvantages.the body is a timeless design that is given to us. in different cultures it is idealized, presented and cared for in different ways. it is an instrument to create and a machine to kill. on a psychological and physical level a human body itself is so strong that can take us far beyond the limits. on the other hand it is so sensitive and fragile that can be destroyed in a moment. the paradox of perfection is transferred to the collection metaphorically. “what does it mean to be perfect and right?” niOka found the answer by putting together the basic garment patterns, as an ideal body, in unstandard ways or in the wrong positions. the result are 3D layered details on the basic garment pattern.

spring and summer 2011 collection celebrates flamboyant hedonistic woman, who personalizes the bright energy of blondie's debbie harry. collection, titled bliss, is aiming towards positivistic, personal and at the same time experimental attitude in colthing – it enables women to create their own color blocks in accordance with their feelings. bright bold colors in hot pink, vivid blue and yellow are combined either with neutral black to create a calmer version of the collection, or mutually for livlier feeling.

the brand, which has been founded in 2007 by its creative force matevž faganel, focuses on personal approach in contemporary apparel design. a small studio with intimate atmosphere strives to develop fashion that flatters the woman who wears it: its philosphy arises from the idea that eternity is more than a single fleeting moment and fashion is more than a sequence of brief trends. throughout the years since its creation, m*faganel became the first selection of several slovenian successful women, who decided to choose design, based on personal approach and customer awareness; a brand, known for its flawless and sophisticated cuts, which are at the same time easy-going and relaxed.
